We also expect applicants to have a demonstrable interest in digital transformation and its impact on the Sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On entry to the Financial Services Academy, individuals will have day-to-day tasks that can vary from assisting with the implementation of Financial regulations, driving the digitisation of Financial Services and making them more user-friendly, helping Financial Service organisations respond to urgent crises, e.g. in the wake of Covid, collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement and creating strategies as well as developing business cases to support investment decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-we-require-individuals-for-this-entry-route-to-have\">We require individuals for this entry route to have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A passion of driving value and transformation in (UK or Global institutions of): Retail Banks; Business and Commercial Banks; Mid\/Large Corporate Banks; Wealth\/Asset Managers; and\/or Payments providers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideally banking domain expertise or a good understanding in: Account provision; Cards and Payments; Lending and Mortgages; Asset management; Onboarding\/KYC; Bank servicing and maintenance operations; Data architecture (within a large UK or Global Bank); Operational Resilience transformation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of Banking product platforms and modern digital technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stakeholder management skills, with experience of being able to influence senior stakeholders and \u201cget things done\u201d across a range of organisations, varying in size and complexity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problem solving skills to work as part of a team to address some of the biggest challenges faced by large Banks &amp; FS institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-you-enter-the-financial-services-academy-a-heavy-emphasis-is-placed-on-your-development-and-being-able-to-learn-a-variety-of-skills-in-a-multitude-of-environments-during-the-programme-you-will-benefit-from-wider-learning-opportunities-and-can-choose-from-a-suite-of-accreditations-including\">When you enter the Financial Services Academy, a heavy emphasis is placed on your development and being able to learn a variety of skills in a multitude of environments.
