The unique Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform is based on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/gb-en\/service\/s4hana\/\">SAP S\/4HANA<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, an intelligent business software suite<\/a>.<\/strong><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-cg-blocks-group undefined section section--article-content\"><div class=\"article-main-content\"><div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-11 col-lg-10 offset-md-1 offset-lg-1\"><div class=\"article-text article-quote-text\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Operating in 50 countries and having grown partly through acquisition, Imerys Group\u2019s business and functional processes are many and diverse. Supervised by the Imerys\u2019 Executive Committee, the modernisation program is therefore aimed at consolidation and simplification to enable the acceleration of the Group\u2019s digital transformation; supporting its growth while improving its profitability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of a single ERP platform is a major area of modernisation for Imerys, to make its information system more agile, facilitate exchanges of higher-quality data and enable the group to optimise its processes. The company chose SAP S\/4HANA as it provides a scalable and flexible integrated solution to handle the complexities of diverse activities, functions and geographies and the full scope of its business transformation project. Implementing SAP S\/4HANA is the first step for Imerys to become an Intelligent Enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first phase of the project, spanning 15 months, a joint balanced collaborative team including Capgemini experts and Imerys managers from various businesses and IT departments across the group, will work together to design this new platform that will be implemented by Capgemini<a href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the collaboration, <strong>Pierre Boissonnade, Group Chief Information Officer and Transformation VP at Imerys<\/strong>, said: \u201c<em>This program is key for the acceleration of our digital transformation.
