Typically, there are two options: a greenfield implementation, which entails a complete reengineering of all business processes from scratch in a new SAP S\/4HANA system, or a system migration (brownfield implementation), which could mean missing out on the advantages the new platform can bring, with incompatible code and compromised performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selective Data Transition provides clients with a third option to their SAP S\/4HANA migration approach, while providing many benefits including, a wide range of migration roadmaps, minimised cut-over activities leading to near-zero downtime, and reduced business disruption. With Selective Data Transition, businesses can re-use relevant custom solutions, choose to migrate only the data that is relevant to their needs, and optimise selective processes. The solution, based on CBS\u2019s Enterprise Transformer\u00ae solution, enables existing process and system landscapes to be transferred holistically and flexibly to the solution and data structures of SAP S\/4HANA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennet.eu\/#&amp;panel1-1\">TenneT<\/a>, a leading European electricity transmission system operator (TSO), with activities in the Netherlands and Germany, is working with Capgemini to migrate data from its current SAP ECC system towards <strong>SAP S\/4HANA: Herman van Dam, Project Lead, OneERP at TenneT<\/strong>, said, <em>\u201cRecently, we have worked with Capgemini to use the CBS tool to create a number of scripts to \u2018mask\u2019 data in view of our SAP S\/4HANA implementation. This was done specifically for the Data Migration from data in the current SAP\u00ae ECC system towards SAP S\/4HANA.
