As Capgemini\u2019s third largest market outside of France and North America, the recruitment drive will have a particular focus on junior talent across the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A third of the new workforce is expected to be sourced through Capgemini\u2019s long-running graduate and apprentice programmes, which are now in their 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and 12<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;years respectively. Both programmes currently employ almost 600 early careers team members. A further 470 roles will join this community in 2021 \u2013 representing a programme growth of 100% compared to 2020. Spanning digital and technology solutions, project management, cyber security and much more, these programmes are a vital part of growing the UK\u2019s digital talent and capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Capgemini is also committed to sourcing its talent from as broad a cross section of the population possible \u2013 including strengthening its geographic focus outside London. As part of its existing network of regional sites throughout the UK, Capgemini plans to open new roles in 2021 at locations including Glasgow, Inverness, Telford, Worthing, Manchester, Liverpool and Treforest. In Scotland alone, the new headcount will be approximately 400 employees \u2013 in addition to the 250 new roles announced for the Highlands at the end of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe events of the past year have proved that digital talent is more critical than ever as businesses rapidly accelerate their digital transformation and look to technology, particularly cloud, to solve some of today\u2019s most pressing issues.
