id=\"h-what-is-the-public-sector-pathway-nbsp\"><strong><strong>What is the Public Sector Pathway?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Public Sector pathway of the Accelerate programme is designed for talented graduates passionate about making a positive difference in the heart of government. You\u2019ll help to solve some of the UK\u2019s most complex and pressing challenges by working with ministerial departments, agencies, and other public bodies across the Public Sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Accelerate Programme consists of 2 parts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Institute (circa 3 months)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Academy (circa 18 months)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your first 3 months of the Accelerate Programme will be spent within The Institute, where you will learn core consulting skills and gain a broad understanding of everything we do at Capgemini Invent within a feed-back rich environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Following your time in The Institute, you will join the Public Sector Academy. You\u2019ll have the opportunity to work on large scale transformation programmes, ensuring the smooth delivery of end-to-end projects by working flexibly, demonstrating intellectual capability and delivering innovative solutions for clients.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your day-to-day tasks will include a variety of activities, such as:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engagement with stakeholders, helping clients tackle complex challenges such as digital transformation, policy implementation and service delivery improvement&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting business development, including the drafting of proposals, bids and proposition development&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaging in learning and development activities to support your career growth and build in-demand skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are interested to hear from you if you have a genuine interest or experience of&nbsp; the industries we operate in and are keen to start a career in an environment where you can drive change.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ideally, you will have some or all of the following:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A passion to support the transformation of public services to continue to meet the evolving needs of society&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A curiosity for how technology, digital, and data transformation can solve our clients most pressing challenges&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An understanding and appreciation of the challenges departments and civil servants face when delivering to the public&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A strong desire to drive the development and improvement of public services&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A passion to continuously learn and develop your skillsets to keep up to date with developments in the sector&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team to address some of the biggest challenges faced by UK society&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At Capgemini Invent, although academics form part of our overall hiring decision, we do not select candidates purely on academic performance.
