FAQs

Q. How can I get in touch with someone in Capgemini recruitment?

Please read the information on this page and related web pages. If you cannot find the information you require, email the recruitment team.

Q. I am an international student can I apply to Capgemini’s graduate programmes?

You are welcome to apply, but please be aware that many of our roles require security clearance, for these roles you will need to have been resident in the UK for at least five years with no longer than 6 months living outside of the UK.

Q.  Does Capgemini accept speculative CVs ?

Capgemini doesn’t accept speculative CVs for the graduate programme. Instead, please apply for a position by selecting the appropriate role within the “Which role is for me?” section above.

Q. Can I apply for more than one Capgemini job or programme?

No, you can apply for only one role at a time. If during our selection process we feel your skills are better suited to a different role, we’ll discuss this with you. If at any point you would like to alter your application to apply for a different role, please tell us.

Q. If I am unsuccessful, when can I reapply?

If you are unsuccessful at any stage of the process, you can reapply 12 months after your initial application.

Q. Can you explain what to expect during the application process?

There are 4 stages to our process: The Application, Situational Strengths Test, Digital Interview and Assessment Centre. Please see the How Do I Apply section, above, for further details.

Q. Can I receive feedback on my performance at each stage of the application process?

There are two stages to our recruitment process where we can provide candidates with feedback. If you receive an invite to complete our Situational Strengths Test, once completed you will receive a customised report which highlights your top three strengths and how you can further develop these. This report is provided regardless of whether you get through to the next stage of our process. All candidates who attend an assessment center with us will get verbal feedback. This is usually provided within a two week period of attending an AC.

Q. What are your closing dates for applications?

We close roles as soon as we have enough applications to fulfil our requirements, you can see which roles are open in the “Which role is for me?” section. We recommend that you submit your application asap as candidates are progressed on a first come, first served basis.

Q. Am I guaranteed a job at the end of the programme?

You join Capgemini on day one as a permanent full-time employee. Your Capgemini career will continue after the graduate programme ends.

Q. What help will you give me to get started on the programme?

Your career at Capgemini will begin with a one-week induction. There’s an amazing atmosphere and it helps to create a really strong community.

Q. Will I always work in the office that is my base location?

In order to understand and meet our clients’ needs fully and so that we can work as a team most Capgemini projects are based on client sites. This means in a normal working week you will be working at the client’s office, wherever it may be, rather than at your base location. All reasonable expenses will be paid when you are staying away from home. Most of our graduates find this an exciting opportunity, as you’ll see from the videos they have made for us.

. What happens after I have accepted my offer?

After the recruitment team have been in touch to extend your verbal offer and share the offer details with you, you will then be supported by our onboarding team who will request the necessary information from you in order to raise your written offer and to make all the necessary arrangements to make your onboarding experience a positive one.

Please send us the documentation we ask for as soon as possible so as not to delay the process of getting you started. It may sound like a lot to do, but don’t worry the onboarding team will be with you every step of the way and will answer all your questions.

Q. How do I make you aware of my disability and the adjustments I need to be made during the selection process?

Please include details on your application form. If you would like to speak to someone about your needs please contact richard.nelson@capgemini.com
