Hans van Waayenburg appointed CEO of Sogeti and succeeds Luc-François Salvador now Executive Chairman for the new Asia-Pacific entity of the Capgemini Group

Hans van Waayenburg joined the Capgemini Group in 2002. He has been the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Sogeti Group since January 2012 and Chairman of the board for Sogeti Netherlands.
Hans Van Waayenburg, age 57, a graduate from the Technical Bachelor program at the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, started his career in 1981 at the Dutch IT company Volmac, then held various positions at Inter Program, and was appointed Director of its testing division in 1992.  Joining IP Informatica and IQUIP, companies acquired by the Capgemini Group in 1993, he then worked in various management positions. In 2002, he was appointed Managing Director of Sogeti Netherlands.
Managing Director of Sogeti in Europe 2006-2011 he expanded Sogeti to the UK, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Ireland, also being responsible for the integration strategies of multiple European acquisitions.  In 2010, Hans Van Waayenburg, created the global Capgemini Service Line Software Testing which today consists of 12,000 employees.

Luc-François Salvador has been the Chairman and CEO of Sogeti Group since 2007.
Working for the Group for the past 36 years, Luc-François Salvador has had multiple top management responsibilities for different entities in France and internationally, among others as Director of Capgemini Time & Materials. Under his direction, Sogeti has during the last twelve years grown from 3,500 to almost 20,000 team members today.
