Capgemini UK has been awarded this year’s title of The Times Top 50 Employers for Women where women in the UK want to work.
This is the second year that Opportunity Now and The Times have collaborated on the Times Top 50 Employers for Women. Numerous entries across the country and high standards made the selection process highly competitive.
Organisations who had entered nominations for the title had to demonstrate gender diversity as an integral part of their corporate approach – in recruitment, retention, and development of women with a consistent pledge to helping them – individually and collectively – achieve all-round success and fulfillment at the workplace.
Ann Brown, VP, HR, Capgemini said, “I am absolutely delighted that Capgemini has been awarded this external recognition for being an employer women want to work for. Women are under-represented in the IT services sector and we need to do more to promote the opportunities offered by working in this exciting industry and how all employees can make a substantial contribution to the sector. In Capgemini we have implemented a number of policies to support women, we celebrate our role models and encourage women to grow their careers through mentoring and personal support. Our company is a better place to work for all as a result.”
