Kadaster wants to outsource the management of its generic infrastructure components to a service provider whose core competencies include infrastructure services. Kadaster expects to be able to better guarantee the continuity of its own service delivery. Moreover, outsourcing enables Kadaster to increase its innovative powers by making use of the expertise of Capgemini, where technology is at the heart of business.

Both parties have agreed that specific employees of Kadaster’s own data centre can transfer to Capgemini on a voluntary basis. The agreements that have been closed with the unions and the Workers Council are part of the contract.

Dorine Burmanje, CEO Kadaster said: “After a careful preliminary phase, we have succeeded, together with trade unions, Works Council and Capgemini, in building a solid foundation for outsourcing our infrastructure services and providing a sound perspective for all staff involved. We have full confidence in an excellent partnership with Capgemini for the future.”

Patrick Nicolet, Infrastructure Services CEO and member of the executive committee at Capgemini: “This major contract demonstrates the depth and differentiation of Capgemini’s infrastructure capabilities in the Netherlands. We look forward to delivering quality services which should drive innovation and efficiency for Kadaster. Kadaster is clearly a significant customer for us and it’s great to see that view reciprocated through this signing.”
