The 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women list from Great Place to Work® UK, recognises Capgemini UK among 263 ranked organisations.

Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, helping organisations to create exceptional, high-performing workplaces where employees feel trusted and valued. Capgemini UK was recognised with 20th place among the 39 Super Large Organisations assessed (those with 1,000+ employees).

This recognition confirms that:

  • Capgemini UK is an organisation where people trust each other and employees are able to reach their full human potential, no matter who they are or what they do.
  • Capgemini UK supports the different identities women hold and ensures their daily experiences are positively and consistently experienced.
  • Capgemini UK recognises that women are a valuable talent pool and strives for fair representation of women in the workforce and throughout management.
  • Capgemini UK is a great workplace FOR ALL, including women.

We are proud of supporting our people as we continue to take action on gender equality and inclusion and move into hybrid ways of working, including:

  • Establishing rituals for hybrid working – from informal to formal, one-to-one to team gatherings – ensuring these routines are established to reduce proximity bias.
  • Focusing on health and support – we launched Peppy, an app providing personalised medical support for women at different life stages, including webinar series, group chat, video calls with medical practitioners and a suite of other resources.
  • Our Women@CapgeminiUK network continues to grow: chaired by one of our Vice Presidents and empowering our local communities to support each other, extend event invitations, and celebrate individual and collective successes.
  • Increasing support for different groups – communities connecting and supporting on baby loss, menopause, neurodiversity and young carers – alongside new family friendly policies on fertility assistance and supporting team members through pregnancy and baby loss.
  • Sharing the journeys and brilliant work of our female role models internally and externally.

What our people say about our workplace:

  • “The work culture is amazing, and the opportunities that are presented at an early stage are incredible. The flexibility of work life is also really great.”
  • “People are very genuine. The company has a good culture and is working hard to make it a diverse place to work.”
  • “Fantastic people, great growth opportunities and a collaborative culture – happy to be part of the Capgemini family!”

Andrea Metherell, Head of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion for Capgemini UK stated:

“I’m delighted we are listed in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2022 – and have been recognised by our people for our inclusive culture and actions towards achieving gender equality.”

As Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains:

“Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best Workplaces™ for Women that the UK has ever recognised. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management. Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. Only by first identifying the gaps in workers’ experiences can organisations truly take action to close them, which is why analysing employee experience is important. We are proud that the data and insights we provide organisations helps on that continuous journey – and it’s wonderful to celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes.”
