Networking Opportunities

Accelerate Quarterly Meeting

Every quarter, the whole Accelerate community gathers in a chosen venue to meet-up with their peers and hear the latest developments in the community from the Accelerate leadership, including learning & development opportunities, promotions and upcoming events. Most importantly, it is another chance for our consultants to get to know each other and build their team-spirit through activities and challenges.

Following your graduation from the Accelerate Programme, you will keep the strong relationships you have built over the course of the programme with your peers, but most importantly senior leaders and experts you will have worked with on large transformation programmes. This will accelerate your future career as your strong network of colleagues will support you throughout your experiences at Capgemini. There will also be opportunities for you to keep being involved in the Accelerate Programme and give back, by shaping the future of the graduate scheme and provide mentorship to our graduate consultants.

At Capgemini Invent, we believe in empowering our powerful-minded graduates to accelerate their development. From redefining strategies and working with emerging technologies, to offering better customer experiences and increasing market share, you will be deployed on critical programmes. From Government projects impacting the life of millions of people, to large European regulatory programmes in the Financial Services industry or exciting digital transformations in the Retail sector, you will have an opportunity to deliver concrete results.

As Capgemini Invent is a leader in technology and innovation, you will be offered opportunities to work on projects involving emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence, and shape what the future will look like for our clients.

Friday Night Fun

Every month our Friday Night Fun team organises a night out for our Accelerate consultants to relax, socialise with the community and enjoy complimentary food and drinks. They can also partake in themed activities such as karaoke, football or ping-pong.

Our Quarterly Meeting and Friday Night Fun teams have since made these events virtual to adapt to the current climate and ensure the community stays connected.

Women at Capgemini Invent

Women at Capgemini Invent aim to be a champion for women and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We are an empowered community of women and allies passionate about informing, educating and providing a safe space to address important issues across all aspects of women’s lives.

We recognise the value of a diverse workforce and have started several initiatives to enrich cohesion and connection between consultants. Our flagship event, International Women’s Day celebration, kicks off the community events for the year where we encourage active participation throughout the business from all grades. Our Wellbeing Events, Senior Leadership Panels, Maternity & Beyond Stream and Mentorship Programme are some of the initiatives we run to stimulate personal and professional career growth.

Active Inclusion continues to be at the forefront of Capgemini Invent and Women at Capgemini Invent pledges to evolve and focus on goals that supports empowerment of all genders to improve parity within the business.

The mission of OUTfront is to provide a forum for education and awareness supporting the professional growth of LGBTA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Allies, and others) employees at Capgemini. We are a community committed to fostering a safe environment for individuals to be authentic in the workplace.

Mental Health & Disability

From the first stages of recruitment through to each working day with Capgemini, support is always at hand. For team members with a disability, mental health condition or caring responsibility, our Disability, Carers & Allies employee network provides a space to meet others at Capgemini and share advice, questions and experiences.

Giving Back

Capgemini Invent has inclusive, people-focused values and ethics, and values corporate social responsibility (CSR). We have a sustainable mindset pushing for reductions in energy business travel and waste constantly increasing awareness of environmental issues across the business.

This positive approach to corporate sustainability means that Capgemini Invent will support you in pursuing CSR opportunities. We have consultants offering their time to work with local schools and colleges in outreach programmes, for example leading employability, technology or career events. On our Capgemini Give and Gain day, graduates and other employees spend a day volunteering for a charity of their choice.

As part of the 2-week Accelerate induction, new joiners will have a dedicated CSR day where they can utilise their digital knowledge to give back to the local community.

You can nominate a favourite charity for a quarterly Community Impact Award of £1,000 to help it create an even more significant social impact.
