GDPR is now live but we believe the journey to compliance is not yet complete. Ahead of the May 25th date we released a survey which showed that 85% of organisations in Europe will not be ready on time. Additionally, one in four will not be fully compliant by the end of this year, according to a new report today from Capgemini’s Digital Transformation Institute. “Seizing the GDPR Advantage: From mandate to high-value opportunity” surveyed 1,000 executives and 6,000 consumers across 8 markets to explore attitudes to, readiness for, and the opportunities of GDPR.

Join us in Glasgow on Tuesday 11th September to hear from industry experts at Capgemini and CA Technologies on what it takes to get ready, what can still be done for those who are not quite ready, and also how to handle the new reality.

In addition to providing a view on how the market is meeting its requirement, we would like to take the opportunity to launch our “GDPR Regional Community of Interest Group”. Our aim is to provide you with a forum to share experience, ideas and lessons learned in your journey to achieve compliance. We are mindful that this journey can be a complex one and it is our desire to support regional development in this space through providing a place to share and compare notes.

We’re delighted to have special guest, Scott Montgomery from Student Loans Company who will provide an overview of how the organisation prepared for the new directive and how they’re finding it one month in.
