Short Description

We are looking to recruit a Test Automation Architect for an initial large scale, high profile Insurance transformation programme.  This is a permanent – fulltime postiion based in London.

Job Responsibilities

 
 
1. Engineer automation architecture for a large Insurance transformation program. 
 
2. Develop automation strategy leveraging agreed tool set to optimize the test effort and increase the efficiency
 
3. Be adept with agile delivery model to drive In-Sprint automation, Continuous Testing approaches, BDD for acceptance, service virtualization etc… 
 
4. Consult with program stakeholders in defining an automation strategy,  plan and deliverables
 
5. Flexible to adopt to different automation frameworks and drive a well integrated automation platform
 
6. Consult and implement right fit test automation approach
 
7. Lead implementation of the test plan/strategy from establishing automation goals to go-live/steady state. 
 
8. Act as a career coach to subordinates and develop future leaders
 
9. Continuously improve the automation service quality by consulting stake holders

Essential experience required

 
  • Hands-on current experience in building automation frameworks, meeting different requirements of the project i.e. non-UI, Database,  Service…
  • Ability to develop custom or fit to requirement frameworks and strategy.
  • Ability to implement full SDLC automation integrating project tools like Jira and ALM
  • Practical experience in cutting edge industry test practices and tools across Web,  Mobile, Services,  DB and Desktop applications
  • Deep expertise with Selenium frameworks and associated toolsets
  • Excellent communication  and stakeholder management skills
