The Test and Release Service is part of the Capgemini global group and are the best-in-class in testing services delivering successfully across the public sector in the UK. Why this role?
Working as part of a large team of Test Analysts in the Test & Release Service you will be placed on different assignments. The day-to-day work is stimulating, your problem-solving skills will be put to good use, and you will play an active role in providing innovative solutions to our clients. We hire people with a broad range of skills who are eager to tackle the technologies unexpected demands.
To this role you will bring a collaborative ethos, you’ll work on various activities including evaluating customer requirements, design test cases using test techniques to mitigate risks, prepare test data, execute and record test results. You will be providing input to progress and defect reports. You’ll escalate where necessary to see your work through to completion/ resolution. As a Test Analyst you will have a direct report in the form of a Team Leader.
You will work in various technologies and have opportunities to continue enhance your skills to improve our ways of working.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in testing and quality assurance(with an understanding of agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery lifecycles) and specifically in integration and End to End testing. You will be proactive, a critical thinker, have good attention to detail, have experience of stakeholder management, effective communication skills and be adaptable to changing priorities.
You have a keen interest to keep up with the software testing market trends and identify better ways of working, to bring innovation to our customers. You need to be able to work as a team as well as on an individual basis.
We’d like you to be industry certified in Software Testing Foundation, but if you aren’t’, you will get all the help and support you need from our fantastic team.
