This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Manager to work with our SAP team which supports and implements SAP Tax and Revenue Management and Enterprise resource planning solutions for HMRC, which is the largest implementation of its kind globally. We are a dynamic and fast-moving business unit, with an expectation of further growth over the coming years to ensure that we can continue to deliver high quality SAP solutions for HMRC.
A Project Manager is required to support the Capgemini’s SAP business unit on the south coast. There is a variety of HMRC SAP project work, and you will report to a Programme Manager. It is a challenging and multi-faceted role that requires excellent client facing skills.
We’re excited to be offering this opportunity to join our rapidly expanding team, working at the forefront of technology. You will create, manage and continuously improve one or more programmes using agile and lean principles and methodologies, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a number of multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams. You will work with product managers and the delivery team to establish delivery priorities and plans, manage risks and dependencies, and remove blockers. You will have great stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build good relationships and communicate effectively. You’ll be adept at delivering complex projects, breaking down barriers for your team and dealing with escalations.
The focus on your role will be Project Management experienced in the full project lifecycle from proposal response & contract scheduling to planning, mobilising and leading the implementation of SAP and related software.
- Project planning
- Co-ordination and management of project team members
- Management of all aspects of delivery including risks, issues, scope, cost and timeline
- Regular progress and financial reporting
- Knowledge of SAP technologies and delivery methods
- Strong Experience of Agile & Waterfall methodologies
