Who you’ll be working with

We are currently seeking a top performing Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Architect with hands on experience in Data Science & Analytics to join our successful Insights & Data Practice.

This is a permanent requirement within our Financial Services Business Unit and the successful consultants will be expected to travel.

The focus of your role

Capgemini Financial Services requires an experienced Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Architect with Technical / Management skills in the area of business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting and analytics. The person will apply his / her Financial Services industry expertise to help our clients derive value from their internal and external sources of data. This person must be able to engage with business and IT stakeholders and articulate solutions at various levels.

The Data Science and Analytics Team within the Insights and Data Practice provide Capgemini Financial Services business analytics and modelling capability. The team delivers analytics solutions and delivery services to a wide range of clients in the Financial Services sector. The person will be responsible to work with clients collaboratively and provide the expertise and structured thinking that will help them develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.

What you’ll be required to do

The role requires consultants who can help clients to build cloud-based environments to:

  • Shape and evolve their customer experience
  • Enhance and expand their service and commerce channels
  • Integrate and optimise their marketing performance across channels
  • Innovate their business models and operations
  • Radically transform their existing capabilities improving speed to market for new innovative data science solutions

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate most of the following skills:



  • Google Cloud Architecture
  • Data modelling
  • Capacity/resilience infra planning
  • API set up and deployment
  • Experience of the data warehouse development cycle from user requirements definition through design, development, testing and implementation
  • Experience of knowledge of complex integration issues and technologies
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of data warehouse design, logical and physical database design and challenges posed by data quality
  • DevOps design and implementation for data science/analytics

What you’ll bring

  • Comprehensive experience in the Information Technology industry with recent experience of client facing Data Architecture development
  • Should have TOGAF qualification and be versed in Capgemini IAF
  • A strong academic track record including the achievement of a good honours degree or equivalent
  • Experience of working within the consulting industry or end user organisation
  • A track record of delivering Data Architectures as part of Data warehouse projects
  • Comfortable liaising with senior client personnel to establish requirements and discuss potential development strategies for data development
  • Able to interpret business requirements in terms of data architecture, database technology and data model design
  • Excellent communication skills – interviewing, preparation and delivery of presentations and reports
