This is a strategic HR leadership role that is accountable for partnering with the UK CIS business to drive their people agenda. CIS is part-way through a transformation programme that is moving it to a more digital and agile player in new technologies. People transformation is a huge part of this journey.
The role reports to the Chief HR Officer for the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) Global Business Line (GBL). The primary purpose of the role is to develop a strong relationship with and become a trusted advisor to the President, CIS UK and the executive leadership team. The HRBP must understand the business strategy in order to align the people agenda and then deliver on it. In addition, the role is accountable for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the HR processes.
The role is strategically focused, but with operational responsibilities, in the areas of talent management, performance management, skill & capability development and employee engagement.
An ability to lead and participate in business transformation is necessary such that the HR function aids business growth and evolution whilst mitigating risk of external and internal claims or exposure to unfair and inconsistent application of process and policy.
