Who you’ll be working with
Hopes. Dreams. Aspirations. We all have them. And chances are yours aren’t a carbon copy of everyone else’s. That’s why, at Capgemini, we give you options – and the freedom to achieve your ambitions your way.
A role in our Capgemini Graduate Community is perfect for you if you want to create, develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions to complex & challenging client problems. Coming to work with us means using the right change management techniques to guide our clients through a seamless programme of activity which ensures the smooth running of our technology-enabled transformation projects.
You’ll have responsibility from day one. Work alongside, and pick the brains of, experts in different technologies & industries. And thrive in a fast-paced, intensely collaborative environment. You’ll be involved, be stretched and, just as importantly, be trusted.
The Focus of Your Role
SAP Functional Applications Consultant
Getting under the skin of our clients’ issues, you’ll define how we can support clients better, help develop and customise the groundbreaking applications they need, and roll these out to users. So this is a role for someone who can build strong relationships as well as in-depth technical knowledge.
That knowledge will grow from comprehensive training that immerses you in all things SAP. You’ll discover what the technology is capable of and how to put it into action. And you’ll use it to transform a host of key areas for clients. Our teams of Application Consultants specialise in Human Resources – looking at anything from recruiting new talent to paying existing employees; Supply Chain Management – boosting visibility and decision-making across the whole supply chain; Customer Relationship Management – harnessing digital technologies to keep clients ahead in sales, marketing, service and commerce; and in retail – helping clients track products from supplier to sale. You can experience the full range of our work before deciding where your interests lie.
In Data Management and Enterprise Performance Management – one of our fastest growing units – you’ll be more business focused. Involved in business reporting, planning, and data and strategy management, you’ll reinforce a reputation that’s made us a SAP UK Enterprise Performance Management Special Expertise Partner.
Whatever your degree, you must have a good understanding of how technology is changing, and appreciate its power to revolutionise the way organisations work and behave. Curious, eager to try new things, and ready to challenge and be challenged, you’ll also have a flair for building rapport and solving problems.
We’ll encourage your growth at every stage. After all, it fuels ours. Yes we’re one of the world’s top consulting, technology and outsourcing organisations, with 188,000 people in 44 countries. But we still have big ambitions – and we’ll rely on you to help us achieve them.
So expect the training, support and challenge you need to capitalise on what makes you special – and to confidently pursue the career path that most inspires you, whether that means changing track or shifting focus down the line.
Join us, and be the you, you want to be.
