This league table of the most inclusive employers in the UK shines a light on best practice across all strands of diversity – age, disability, gender, LGBT+, race, faith and religion.
Organisations featured in the list provided evidence on topics including recruitment procedures, training, workforce data and a host of diversity-related initiatives.
Managing Director of Capgemini UK Paul Margetts commented: “We are honoured to be part of the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List 2020. Inclusivity is critical to our success – it underpins our people’s experience at work, it’s integral to building relationships with our clients, and it’s absolutely key to innovating for the sustainable and inclusive future that we want.”
We formed our Active Inclusion programme in 2016 to move the conversation beyond diversity: engaging our people in a conscious culture and mindset change for inclusion. At Capgemini, we are committed to making a step change; for us, inclusion starts with everyone, from the way we conduct ourselves to how we engage with others. Everyone has a role to play: our focus is on driving action through engagement – from altering processes to inspiring everyday individual changes. We are proud that strong leadership commitment is driving our inclusive culture, putting respect at the very heart of it. Our leaders are dedicated to supporting initiatives that champion individuality and promote open, honest conversation, underpinned by transparent reporting and measurement. Our goal is clear: we want to be recognised by our people, our clients, and in the market, as a truly inclusive organisation where everyone has the power to tell their story – and be heard.
