Calling all University students! Looking for a way to enhance your CV whilst having fun AND doing your bit for charity? Join the Capgemini Enterprise Challenge and participate in the ultimate fundraising business venture!

Who we are and what we do

Capgemini is a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services boasting 190,000 employees and spanning 40 countries around the world. For the past 5 years, we have been participating in the Million Makers initiative. Combining entrepreneurship with fundraising, the initiative raises money for The Prince’s Trust, a charity providing support to disadvantaged young adults helping them get back into education, training or work . The charity offers free programmes to develop key employability skills and provide financial support to participants in order to restore balance to their lives.

Our Challenge

We are looking to guide teams of bright and motivated students through the key stages of starting a business. Kicking off the challenge, successful participants will engage in an Enterprise workshop. Starting with a brainstorming session, teams will be encouraged to come up with innovative ideas to turn a small amount of seed funding into as much money as possible within a 4-6 week period. With the help of dedicated mentors, the teams will put together and pitch a business case in a “Dragons Den” style conference call to senior staff at Capgemini. We are looking for creativity, initiative and above all enthusiasm! The pitch will be used to determine how much seed money each team deserves, based on fulfilment of these three key attributes.

So what is in it for you?

  • Build your network and gain exposure by working with Capgemini employees
  • Participate in an entrepreneurship workshop and learn how to build a business case
  • Be in with the chance of winning an invitation to the Capgemini UK Holborn offices. Spend time with our teams and learn about our business
  • Professional support and mentoring
  • The opportunity to get involved with an incredible charity
