EDGE evaluated our talent pipeline data, organisational policies and employee feedback to determine that we are meeting the standard on recruitment & promotion, leadership training & mentoring and company culture.

We received highly positive feedback on our policies, processes and steps taken as part of our Active Inclusion programme, particularly in senior leadership and communications. We also saw progress around employee perceptions towards flexible working: in our Active Inclusion survey in 2016, 61% of respondents said they make use of flexibility as part of their Work Life Harmony, while the figure jumped to 78% in EDGE’s 2017 survey.
Frances Duffy continues: “The journey does not end here. As part of the certification process, we have committed to a plan which we will focus on over the next two years. As we continue to create opportunities for those from any background, action areas include ensuring an inclusive approach to hiring and improving gender balance at all levels of the organisation.”
