Capgemini was ranked 2nd both in the Best Degree Apprenticeship and the Best IT & Technology Apprenticeship categories at the recent All About School Leavers awards ceremony.
The All About School Leavers awards recognise the best employers for recent school leavers to work for and celebrate everything that makes apprenticeships great: from skills development and career progression to training and company culture. The winners are decided by apprentices and school leaver trainees from 100 UK organisations. Capgemini also came 26th overall on the Best Employers for School Leavers list.
Ruth South, Head of Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes at Capgemini, added: “Capgemini’s Degree Apprenticeship programme enables individuals to build both the academic and practical skills necessary for success in the tech sector, while also helping to create the talent needed to boost the UK’s digital economy. We are committed to nurturing our junior talent and are proud to be working at the forefront of this industry-wide initiative that will help the UK to compete on the global stage. We recognise that apprentices bring a huge amount of value to our business and with an overall apprentice community of over 350 individuals we are continuing to grow and diversify our programme offering.”
Capgemini has also recently been recognised for its graduate programmes:
- 173rd in The Guardian UK 300
- 6th in Potentialpark’s UK OTaC Online Talent Communication 2016 Study
- 75th in Job Crowd’s The Top Companies For Graduates To Work For
Dan Doherty, Attraction & Engagement Manager for UK Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes, commented: “We’re delighted to be recognised so highly in all those rankings, illustrating just how well regarded our programmes are. A lot of work goes into continuously developing and promoting them, meeting the needs of both the business and junior talent.”
