The decisions of today define our future. As decisionmakers we are setting the course for our society – whether we are building a utopia or a dystopia.

The objective of our event is to spark up conversation about the winds affecting the course of our ship: what do we want to achieve in the future and why, what technologies do we use, and what kind of collaboration is needed to achieve set objectives. Join our event to navigate your way into shaping our future.

After the plenary session keynotes you will be divided into four small groups interacting with other participants through the four breakup sessions. In each session a speaker will open a topic and then facilitate discussions and encourage you to consider the topic from your organization’s point of view.

Mikko-Pekka Hanski

Mikko-Pekka Hanski is one of the co-founders of the fastest growing design company, Idean. For over 15 years, he has helped companies find effective and inspirational ways to understand their customers. His unique way of crystallising complicated challenges and turning them into actionable strategies has made him a true experience design pioneer not only in his native Finland, but throughout the world.
Mikko-Pekka is a design-minded innovator, whose enthusiasm and drive truly inspire his colleagues and clients. With his open-minded thinking, he pushes people to explore and reach big impact solutions that bring value both for companies and their customers.

Tiina Neuvonen

Thematic Lead in Education at United Nations Technology
Tiina Neuvonen
Tiina is a sociologist & innovation professional combining and understanding of people, technology, and innovation. Currently, she works at the United Nations Technology Innovation Lab (UNTIL) in Finland as a Thematic Lead in Education after being an innovation focal point at UNESCO New York and spending some years in East-Africa overseeing the organization’s ICT innovation portfolio.
Before joining the UN, Tiina worked in innovation consulting, service design and marketing bringing disruptive ideas to life to build brand value and expand into new markets and categories. From the onset of her career as a researcher of socio-technical issues (Helsinki Institute for Information Technology), she has remained passionate about transformative technologies and their impact on individuals, communities, organizations, and countries.
Tiina holds a Master’s degree in sociology from Helsinki University, a first-class Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of York, and a Diploma in Social Innovation from the General Assembly mandated University for Peace in Costa-Rica.

Jaakko Lehtinen

Head – Capgemini Nordic Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence
Jaakko Lehtinen
Jaakko Lehtinen is heading Capgemini’s Nordic Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence. He is one of the Finnish robotic process automation pioneers: for the past five years, Jaakko has worked full time in leading positions related to knowledge work automation and has had the opportunity to closely observe how automation benefits have been implemented in various European companies and in different industries. Before joining Capgemini, Jaakko has worked in service delivery, operations, outsourcing and IT services development positions. Jaakko is actively following up on phenomenons related to automation and cognitive, and he is daily in the middle of the action experiencing how new technologies such as artificial intelligence or natural language processing influence knowledge work and business.

Ristomatti Partanen

Senior Consultant for Digital Business Development

Ristomatti Partanen is a business and service designer with 25+ years of extensive and versatile experience in developing digital products, systems and services. He was one of the pioneers in Finland who started applying user-centered design and user research methods regularly to create new commercial products for global markets.
Ristomatti has started his career as a usability specialist in healthcare industry developing patient monitors and clinical information systems. He then continued his career as a consultant helping multiple industries and public sector clients. Ristomatti has also experienced years of life as a startup co-founder and CEO building a consumer SaaS-service for global markets.
Ristomatti’s background has given him a strong understanding of different activities, roles and skills that organizations require in order to develop, market and grow a modern digitally empowered business. At Capgemini Ristomatti helps clients to develop and improve their business, processes and offering and to recognize and seize future opportunities.

Gregor Gimmy

Founder & Managing Director at 27pilots

Gregor Gimmy is a founder & managing director at 27pilots. His focus is to establish the Venture Client model as the leading global Corporate Venturing tool.
Prior to 27pilots, Gregor spent 6 years at BMW. He joined to establish an internal innovation strategy team known as BMW Innovation Works. After identifying the opportunity that BMW could benefit strategically from scaling the adoption of startup solutions, he invented the Venture Client model and implemented it through the BMW Startup Garage. Prior to BMW, Gregor started various VC funded ventures in Silicon Valley and Europe. Early in his career, Gregor worked at IDEO (Palo Alto), which he helped transform into a strategic innovation consultancy, and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
Gregor is an active angel investor, Executive in Residence at the IMD Business School, guest lecturer at INSEAD business school and frequent speaker at conferences such as Slush, 4YFN and DLD.

Andreas Schnell

Thematic Lead of Venture Clienting at Capgemini Invent Germany

Andreas is driving the topic Venture Clienting within Capgemini Invent and is a team member of the Digital Innovation team in Germany. With 5+ years of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry he has helped several OEMs to digitize their business. Andreas has been working on projects around new digital business models, connected services, mobility services and corporate startup collaboration. At Capgemini Invent he is leading the cooperation with 27pilots to establish the Venture Client model for Capgemini’s clients.

 

Jarmo Kortelahti

Lead of Capgemini Invent Finland

Jarmo is leading Capgemini Invent in Finland. With 15+ years of experience from management consulting and working in the Telecom industry, he has held a variety of senior roles in large international companies in the Telecom and High-tech sector like Microsoft, Nokia and Telia.
Jarmo has been working both on the operator and device manufacturing sides to understand how to create customer experiences with leading edge technologies. At Capgemini Invent he specializes in driving digital business transformations and customer experience & productivity improvements using Lean, Agile and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
