Principal at Fahrenheit 212
When it comes to creating great experiences, I believe in the power and elegance of simplicity, and that interactions should be authentic, meaningful, and pleasurable.
I am a passionate designer, strategist, and innovator with a background in industrial design, user-centered design, research, innovation, experience strategy, and brand management. Currently, I am a Principal at Fahrenheit 212 (a part of Capgemini Invent), and the head of our studio in Atlanta.
My team and I are focused on overcoming challenges and delivering solutions for a range of Fortune 500 clients across various industries, including healthcare, retail, consumer products, automotive, and warehouse management.
I love tackling a complex challenge. I find it rewarding to discern signal from noise.
Recognition
Since 1993, I have been involved with the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) group, where I once held the position of President and Fellow and was named one of the Top 50 Designers of the Last 50 Years.
Some of my other recognition include:
- Named one of the 10 Innovators You Should Know by Deep magazine
- A Women in Technology (WIT) Atlanta chapter nominee for the Woman of the Year in Technology
Background
I joined the Capgemini group in 2018. Previously, I worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I taught professional practices in industrial design. Prior to that, I ran an experience strategy firm called Echo Visualization for 10 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial design and a master’s degree in interaction design.
And another thing…
In my spare time, I enjoy training for and partaking in half-marathons, and the occasional ultra-marathon. I love traveling, drinking good wine, and spending time with my husband and our German Shorthaired Pointer.
