Cloud Services

Vikrant Karnik

Expert in Cloud Services, Digital Customer Experience

I lead Capgemini’s cloud and digital services business for the financial services sector. My clients include many of the world’s largest banks and insurers. I have deep expertise in cloud-native development, agile methodologies, and DevOps.
My role is to advise my clients on how to accelerate their digital transformation and become more competitive in the fintech ecosystem.

Cloud services – which drive total cost of ownership improvements, balance risk, and enable agility in the application portfolio – are often the key to success. Recently I worked with a multinational financial services corporation headquartered in the US to open up their data to mobile applications via API management.

We enabled the client to do this in under 3 months; where previously it took them 18 months. I represent Capgemini on advisory bodies including AWS’ services advisory council, Google Cloud Platform advisory council, Cloud Native Computing Foundation advisory board, Cloud Foundry foundation technical advisory board and Salesforce’s Platform Partner advisory council. I am passionate about helping organizations make the shift to cloud-native development and DevOps by addressing people, process and technology changes holistically.
