Rika Nakazawa
VP Strategy and Business Development, Atheer

Bio: Originally from Tokyo, Rika is a technology industry veteran and adviser to ventures in the Extended Reality (VR/AR) ecosystem and is VP of Strategy and Partnerships at Atheer, based in Mountain View.  In her role, Rika forges goto-market programs with technology, OEM/ODM, and Solution Integration partners that build and deliver the best-of-class solutions.  Having held executive strategy and business development positions at hardware, software and services enterprises globally – from NVIDIA, AMEX, to Accenture, Sony, frog design, among others – Rika embraces the opportunity we have to shape the next 50 years of computing, and the way we move from interfacing to integrating with all things digital.  She strives to illuminate how to drive leading experiences where human, digital and physical intersect, and how we can re-invent ways people come together to create, consume and celebrate the digital experiences that constitute life as we know it, feel it, see it, and immerse in it.

In addition to being actively involved in advising start-ups, Rika actively promotes and supports women in technology and leadership – e.g.. having launched the women’s network for the West Coast for American Express, helped produce a women’s startup media program called Queen Bee, and engaged in mentorship programs with Women’s Startup Lab.
