Reinventing Utilities with Digital Technologies

Every day Utilities must sift through massive amounts of data. Yet digital disrupters like networks, Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud, can let you turn this data to opportunity. From better customer interaction to making your internal processes more robust, a digital utilities transformation framework lets you achieve these.

We partner with you to make the right connections across the whole of your enterprise so that you can create experiences that deliver rapid and sustainable value for your customers and your company.

On Thursday March 9 attend the Data, Technology + Innovation track session from 10:30am – 11:45am to understand how to harness digital for your utility and hear success stories from utilities as well.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Dataverse: What to do with all that Data

You can’t turn around these days without hearing the word “Data”; Data-Driven, Big Data, Data Governance, Data Analytics, Data Science. It is true we’re gathering data from smart grid devices, smart meters, even from devices in our customers’ homes or businesses. We have a wealth of operational data in our enterprise systems, and there’s unstructured data on file shares and customer and employee portals.

But do we know how to leverage data in ways that make us more operationally efficient, or that teach us how to engage our customers in new ways? Other companies, potentially competitors, are collecting data on our customers too. In some cases, they want us to give them the data. And guess what; they know what to do with the data once they have it.
