Singapore Open Electricity Market
SP Group embarked on a Digital Transformation at scale, with SAP ISU at the core, to provide its consumers greater flexibility to purchase electricity in the Open Electricity Market. They chose Capgemini as the partner for this transformation to deliver best in class service to create a vibrant ecosystem for the various market participants. When the open electricity market was launched in 2018, it was an unprecedented success- with take-up rates higher than any other country. To cater to the much larger demand for deregulated electricity, SP Group extended their transformation journey to enhance their Technology and Process infrastructure to support the full Singapore market, while also introducing new features and process efficiencies to the consumers as well as the retailers.
