Este nuevo modelo comercial se expandi\u00f3 con la aparici\u00f3n del tel\u00e9fono y la llegada de los pedidos telef\u00f3nicos, rompiendo con todos los esquemas establecidos hasta el momento; la gente quer\u00eda ir de compras, pero sin salir de sus casas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El punto de inflexi\u00f3n llega en 1914 cuando Western Union lanza la primera tarjeta de cr\u00e9dito. Aunque no se populariz\u00f3 hasta la d\u00e9cada de los cincuenta, los consumidores comenzaron a familiarizarse con este nuevo m\u00e9todo de pago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el a\u00f1o 1969, se funda CompuServe, la primera empresa en ofrecer servicios de comercio electr\u00f3nico. Cabe mencionar que en esa \u00e9poca a\u00fan no exist\u00eda Internet, por lo que la compa\u00f1\u00eda ofrec\u00eda servicios de intercambio de datos a otras empresas a trav\u00e9s de l\u00edneas telef\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1979, diez a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de la creaci\u00f3n de CompuServe, se inventa la compra electr\u00f3nica. Michael Aldrich conect\u00f3 un televisor modificado a un ordenador de procesamiento de transacciones a trav\u00e9s del tel\u00e9fono. Este hito marc\u00f3 el inicio de la era del comercio electr\u00f3nico y fue un paso crucial hacia la implementaci\u00f3n de las compras en l\u00ednea tal y como las conocemos hoy en d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solo tres a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, en 1982, el primer mercado en l\u00ednea, Boston Computer Exchange, abre sus puertas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el a\u00f1o 1990 se lanz\u00f3 el primer navegador web (WorldWideWeb), hecho que result\u00f3 ser un catalizador fundamental para el desarrollo del comercio electr\u00f3nico. Gracias a esta innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, los internautas pudieron encontrar con mayor rapidez y facilidad lo que buscaban, mientras que los minoristas pudieron llegar a un p\u00fablico m\u00e1s amplio. Esto signific\u00f3 un avance significativo para las compras en l\u00ednea y sent\u00f3 las bases para su crecimiento exponencial en los a\u00f1os venideros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1994 se realiza la primera transacci\u00f3n segura en l\u00ednea con la aparici\u00f3n de Netscape, que incluye un protocolo llamado Secure Socket Layer (SSL) que mantiene la seguridad tanto del emisor como del receptor de las transacciones en l\u00ednea mediante encriptaci\u00f3n. Como resultado, solo un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, en 1995 comienzan a abrirse los primeros mercados en l\u00ednea. Entre ellos, Amazon, concebido inicialmente para la venta de libros, y AuctionWeb, el primer sitio de subastas en l\u00ednea, que pronto se conocer\u00eda como eBay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentado originalmente como Confinity, PayPal debuta como herramienta de transferencia de dinero en 1998, impulsando las transacciones financieras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el a\u00f1o 2000, se produce la quiebra de las puntocom y la publicidad en l\u00ednea. Esto provoc\u00f3 que el NASDAQ cayera un 75% entre marzo de 2000 y octubre de 2002, lo que tuvo un gran impacto en las ganancias obtenidas desde el inicio de la era digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de este rev\u00e9s, surgi\u00f3 una nueva oportunidad para la publicidad, Google AdWords, dando a las empresas de comercio electr\u00f3nico la posibilidad de anunciarse a trav\u00e9s de la herramienta de b\u00fasqueda de Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2005 El comercio electr\u00f3nico se recupera a lo grande de la crisis y se introducen nuevos conceptos como el Cyber Monday para impulsar las compras por Internet. Adem\u00e1s, Amazon lanza Amazon Prime, convirtiendo el env\u00edo urgente en una realidad para los consumidores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2020 la pandemia ocasionada por el coronavirus oblig\u00f3 a muchas tiendas f\u00edsicas a cerrar sus puertas, lo que volvi\u00f3 al Ecommerce imparable.
