You will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Services, focus on Infrastructure management as Datacenter, Helpdesk, Service Desk, Apps Maintenance and IT Transformation levering the movement to the cloud, and CyberSecurity Services. You will be part of an international Commercial & Contract Team and in your case focused on Spain but with opportunities to be involved in international projects.
As a senior Commercial & Contract Manager inside CIS Global Business Line you will be involved in pre-sales deal shaping and contract negotiation and in the post-sales management of our contracts for large companies, such as IBEX 35. You will work closely with colleagues to sell, deliver and grow profitable business with our clients. Your role will be client facing working with external stakeholders including the clients CTO, commercial and contract managers, legal and procurement as well as any external advisors that the client may engage.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Partnering with a variety of stakeholders such as Account Management, Engagement Manager, Solutioning, Legal, Risk and Finance, the Commercial and Contract Manager will be responsible for ensuring that risks and commercial best practices are taken into account throughout the sales cycle and applied to service delivery.
The three key areas of responsibility are: Pre-sales shaping / Negotiation with the client / Contract compliance and optimization.
You will promote and apply commercial best practice throughout the life of a client engagement to drive value (revenue, margin, growth) from the account. You will be responsible for ensuring Capgemini´s compliance with the contract, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters to the sales and delivery teams and applying Capgemini´s commercial best practice in the day-to-day management and operation of the account.
Required skills and experience:
·Minimum 5 years experience (pre and post) as a Commercial and Contract; Management in IT including IT transformation and use of the Cloud.
·Can demonstrate detailed understanding of key legal and commercial principles and obligations found in IT contracts;
·Able to understand the business requirements and appreciate financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications; strong numeracy and understanding of finances;
·Able to plan, deliver and manage in complex environments including prioritizing agendas and leading meetings;
·Experience of vendor management and client facing negotiation;
·Able to close new deals, extensions and ad-hoc services aspects;
·Excellent communication skills and willing to build good and sustainable relationships with teams and clients;
·Drafting skills and attention to detail;
·Proactive in developing and implementing efficiency improvements;
·Experience in dispute and crisis management;
·Proficiency English level (50% of the work will be in English), multi-cultural experience; Team player.
Qualification: Masters Degree (MBA, legal, finance) or equivalent work experience.
· Understanding of Public Cloud Provider service and contracts.
· Certificate in Commercial and Contract Management.
