Finding purpose in passion – or what it means to “ace” your career at Capgemini

As a recruiting professional, it is my job to know just how important people are to any organization, to guide them toward the most suitable career path, to help them develop their passions. After all, that’s what I always wanted for myself. On the other hand, I know that technology is the way of the future and I really wanted to be part of an organization that was always on the cutting edge of new developments.  Almost ten years ago, I found both at Capgemini – a place that applies the human touch to both business and technology.

The Capgemini brand has been built on the idea that people are our “Ace of Spades” – our greatest asset and the highest-value card in our hand. My managers always made me feel like an ace. They gave me amazing freedom and support to build my career path based on my passions and helped me to consolidate my experience. I started with Capgemini in 2009 as a recruiter in the executive search team, but quickly became interested in the vast potential of social media. So, by 2012 I started building social a media marketing stream for recruiting with channels like LinkedIn to attract the best talent and in 2014, I started working with Group HR to build the global framework and projects on using digital to attract, engage, and source best talent for Capgemini. Today, I work with a wonderful team of two members who share the same interests.
