Examining AI agents’ development, functionality, impact, and responsible governance to ensure effective management

Artificial intelligence (AI) agents are rapidly advancing, transforming decision-making, accountability, and oversight across sectors. Understanding their evolution, capabilities, and societal impact is essential for responsible development and governance.

Capgemini has partnered with the World Economic Forum through the AI Governance Alliance to address the transformative impact of AI agents on society. This initiative aims to explore and harness the potential of AI technologies while ensuring their responsible development and alignment with societal values. By fostering collaboration within the AI community, the partnership seeks to address key challenges such as ethical considerations and governance, promoting the integration of AI innovations that amplify human ingenuity rather than replace it.

Together, Capgemini and WEF strive to drive meaningful progress across sectors, enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall human well-being.
