Young people are considered real contributors and can start to take some responsibilities by leading a working group

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, I’m in charge of recruiting the best IT talents on the market. To support the digital transformation of Capgemini’s clients, I have to research, identify and select new profiles in a very competitive and constantly evolving field. Collaborating with directors and managers is key to understanding the development strategy and defining precisely the resources needed to achieve our growth goals.

Each day is a new step towards hiring! First, I elaborate a strong sourcing plan that I roll out with a series of interviews to spot and attract the right candidates. At Capgemini, I have the chance to be part of each step of the recruitment process which is very gratifying.

Recruitment is also represented by a precise analysis of key performance indicators to upgrade our actions and be more impactful when we attract candidates.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

I’m glad to work at Capgemini because it is possible to propose new ideas in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our organization is based on boldness and entrepreneurship. This model is great to stimulate creativity, easily sharing my ideas with my managers and colleagues, and collaborating with them to achieve our ambition together. Young people are also considered real contributors and can start to take some responsibilities by leading a working group for example.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

I want to talk about the strong values of our group. I was nicely surprised during my first weeks at Capgemini. Even if each person is unique and has a different experience from one another, I found a common vision in every person that I met: commitment, diversity, inclusion, team spirit, and having fun.

I’m also proud to work for a company that has a leading position in the IT market. As a leader in digital transformation, Capgemini supports companies in all sectors of activities, and it represents a strong responsibility. It is a great adventure and I’m excited to take part in it and participate in its development.

How are you working towards the future you want?

To prepare for the future, I think it is important to relate to the present. Each day represents a new opportunity to learn, improve my skills and become an expert in Recruitment. To achieve that, I constantly communicate with my manager to define short-term objectives and move toward a clear direction. Thanks to that, we prepare for a consistent and interesting future, in adequacy with my aspirations. The function of Talent Acquisition continues to change and evolve, I hope to continue to work on these subjects over the years.
