   Role Test Manager Roles &
Responsibilities

1.    
The identified candidate will be
responsible for Collaborating with client to define test strategy and test
approaches

2.    
Participating in Management Reviews
and Teleconferences? Prepare detailed project plan and track schedule

3.    
Defining QA dashboard and reporting
engagement performance

4.    
Identify dependencies, constraints,
risks and issues

5.    
Handle escalations / project issues
from Client project managers and SMEs

6.    
Provide weekly status report to Client

7.    
Reviewing and providing inputs for all
the testing related artifacts

8.    
Administer project change control? Managing
the project level risks

9.    
Manage delivery of medium to large projects?
Facilitate root cause analysis

10.  
Baseline testing deliverables

11.  
Effective stakeholder communication
Experience & Exposure Expected

12.  
10+ years of manual functional testing
experience? Minimum 5 years of managing testing teams

13.  
Sound test process knowledge and
expertise in testing life cycle

14.  
Relevant domain / industry experience?
End-to-end and hands on experience across SDLC phases

15.  
Estimation and Budgeting Experience

16.  
Familiarity in different development
methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, etc.

17.  
Exposure to Test Automation,
Automation tools and frameworks

18.  
Understanding of Mobile testing,
Performance Testing

19.  
Understanding of TCoE, test maturity
assessment frameworks and models

20.  
Defect tracking knowledge and deep
understanding of various defect metrics

21.  
QA lifecycle tools – HP (Quality
Center, QTP, PTC, etc.) or equivalent

22.  
Strong leadership and excellent
communication skills
