Opportunity
For a major financial service client, we are leading development of an enterprise solution for data protection as part of Data Security remediation program to facilitate development and testing and to comply with regulatory requirements. We are in the process of developing a repeatable data security solution that incorporates best of breed solution (home-grown and commercially available tools) for security solution development.
 
Roles & Responsibilities
 
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, including testing strategy and testing approach for data security program using industry-accepted best practices.
Devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans with the project stakeholders from inception to release.
Ensure team understands requirements clearly and knowledge sharing across the testing team.
Assigning the work to offshore / onsite, monitor and report the testing progress to all stakeholders.
Identify risks, issues and dependencies to the testing phases, tracking of the issues and coordinating for resolution.
Analyze data, trends and come up with recommendations to improve quality
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).

Experience Required:
 
10+ years of experience in testing large scale IT and system implementations
Experience in Manual Testing at levels of Unit & System covering Functional tests; Ability to specify and setup test environments
Experience of managing and leading teams to successfully deliver outputs in defined timeframes.
Experience on Data Security methodologies e.g. Encryption, Tokenization, data masking etc (Preferred)
Comfortable with creating test cases for highly complex systems to ensure full test coverage(for a given definition of full)
Understand database models including referential integrity, application enforced integrity, data dependencies between applications.
Have the ability to manage design issues with solutions delivered in to test to ensure delivery of software meets requirements within set deadlines
Have strong SQL skills and be able to confidently test batch
Be able to work with little or no documentation and develop understanding of solution in order to sufficiently test solution is fit for purpose
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to business and technology stakeholders
Ability to multitask and work effective with little supervision; ability to co-ordinate onsite and offsite resources deliverables/activities; Ability to work with client and manage their expectations & priorities
Strong MS PowerPoint (or equivalent) tooling and general office automation/productivity tooling (e.g. MS Office) skill with capability to produce professional presentations, analysis using MS Excel
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
