Primary Skills (Must have)
- Bachelor or Master Degree in, Computer Science/ IT / Electronics / Engineering / Physics.
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing
- Experience in Multifonds application is mandatory
- Experience in handling testing of ‘fund accounting’ applications or ‘multi accounting’ applications is a must.
Reporting to the Capgemini project manager & providing input for all the relevant project management processes (progress update, % completion etc).
Developing a good understanding of the Business and System(s) under test
Fully understand the project requirements and quickly provide effort estimates
Design and document test cases / scripts based on the functional specifications
Document test procedures, test steps and expected results to ensure maximum test coverage
Adhere to the project testing schedules, and flag immediately if there is a risk of slippage
Setup and execute test plan and test cases independently or via designated test management tool
Record test results and prepare test summary reports
Report and track defects in the issue tracking system
Prepare & distribute daily/weekly status reports
