Job description:

Title: Senior Service Management Consultant

Location: NYC


Capgemini is looking for a manager to
provide leadership across delivery and business development for the Application
Management Services (AMS) group within the firm’s Financial Services Strategic
Business Unit. The senior manager will be largely responsible for strategy,
growth, and client delivery for the firm’s expanding and substantial AMS
Practice. The ideal candidate will have professional services/consulting experience,
broad financial services industry experience, deep understanding of the
financial services industry and solid large scale outsourcing sales support and
delivery experience. The candidate will be both a “thinker” and a “doer” and
will have demonstrated a high degree of collaborative business practices in
his/her previous executive experience. Specifically, this manager will be
responsible for:


Partner with the sales team to create AMS
solutions for client needs for co-sourcing, re-badging and transformational

Collaborate with the delivery teams to
plan and implement medium/large scale AMS transitions in situations such as
vendor to vendor replacement, lift and shift and build to run.

Design and implementation of sophisticated
methodologies and systems that will further develop though leadership in AMS

The successful candidate should be able to
lead and approach delivery from a platform of corporate and individual
credibility, based on established client relationships and thought leadership
around key issues in AMS.

Responsible for managing client
engagements and directing the activities of consulting professionals on
complex, multi-stream projects.

Position the practice for deeper
penetration and growth in the FS vertical

Support Senior Capgemini leadership as
they liaise with senior client management ensuring all work streams are aligned
with client organizational objectives, remaining on time and on budget.

Work with Capgemini client executives to
further penetrate major accounts and develop new business based on credible
relationships with top client/prospect executives.

Contribute broad expertise in strategic
and tactical planning, operations, and delivery.



The ideal candidate will be a seasoned
leader within the AMS space. Additionally, the senior manager candidate should
have the following qualifications:

Broad FS industry knowledge of various
markets, competitors, future trends, and service offerings

13+ years of relevant technology,
architecture, consulting or industry experience.

Deep experience in sales solutioning, deal
structures and AMS contracting

Experience in planning and implementing
medium to large scale AMS transitions.

Extensive contacts with executives in FS
companies and be adept at marketing and selling management consulting services
at the executive level in client organizations.

Ability to think strategically; Strong
perspective on where industry/practice is headed while leveraging existing
company strengths for the same.

A proven record in directly generating and
sustaining high impact client relationships, yielding a meaningful level of
revenue/margin contribution.
