Job Description

Job Title: PHS Representative Level 2

Department: Policyholder Services

SUMMARY

Responsible for updating policy records
through the current operating system.
Functions to include those listed below under essential duties and
responsibilities. This representative
will also take calls on the One Stop Shop line.
The representative is responsible for reporting productivity numbers
each day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Understands the retrieve function of
the current imaging system

Can distinguish between types of
policies

Has an understanding of how to use the
current operating system to process work assigned

Maintain the required quality score

Maintain the required productivity
score

Provide customer service to agents and
policyholders as well as internal customers

Can process the following functions:

Duplicate Policy/ID Cards

Indexing

Deaths

Cancellations

Mode Changes

Address Changes

Return mail

Duplicate policies

Duplicate ID cards

Reinstatements

Calls Traks

Returned Checks

Letters

Bank Change

Suspense Reports

ACH Returns

Misc. – Name change, POA, DOB Changes

CBUL – Contingent Benefit Upon Lapse

FPO/GPO – Future Purchase
Option/Guarantee Purchase Option

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general

education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate,
ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

HIA/ LOMA Certificates helpful,
