Job description:

Title: Project Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

 

Solution Architect • Work with
project managers, sales team members, and other technical staff, to coordinate
integrations between the company and its clients, suppliers, and third-party
service providers • Talk directly with customer’s organizations to help them
understand integration options, SDK / API’s available, data formats, and
negotiate protocols • Create technical analysis, estimates, use cases, and
technical design of solutions. Create and execute proof of concepts when
appropriate. • Manage and implement customer integration projects as assigned
from start to finish. •Provide regular, frequent, and consistent status updates
to other team members and customers regarding integrations •Troubleshoot
existing integrations with field support technicians on behalf of clients,
suppliers, and third party service providers •Assist team members with other
aspects of new client implementations as needed •Provide technical guidance and
feedback to team members including management, sales staff, system engineers,
service engineers, and project managers. • Applies technical and business
knowledge to analyze and provide responses to bid documents, requests for
proposals (RFPs), and other submittals. • Assist with budgeting and
implementation of various IT hardware and software solutions for customer
projects. 10 to 15 years of IT with 5 years with application architecture,
Solution architecture • Experience leading and managing teams •Strong
understanding of Micro service patterns & concepts. • Strong
understanding of message-driven architectures. • 10+ plus years development
and/or support roles with an IT organization in either Java or .net technology
stack • 3+ plus years experience with agile software development methodologies
including automation such as Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery •
5+ plus years designing the architecture of software applications and building
application services. • 3+ years experience as a technical lead on development
teams. • Advanced skills implementing API Service architectures (SOA, REST.) •
Significant knowledge of Web technologies. • Strong understanding of NoSQL
databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Gemfire). •Very familiar with tools to
visually create architecture artifacts. •Written and verbal communication -
Advanced • Analytical skills - Advanced • Strong soft skills and ability to
interact with all levels of employees and consultants •Awareness of Cloud or
virtual environments and Know How to deploy applications in Cloud • Experience
in being part of global delivery team with onsite/offshore model and
coordination with support teams for deployment and issue handling. • Experience
with cloud environments such as AWS, Cloud Foundry, Open Stack • Experience
with Pre-production release management, stage the production setup and test
prior to moving any release to production. • Experience with highly available
enterprise environments utilizing load-balancing network devices and proxy
servers. • Experience with API Portal such as CA Layer 7 or WSO2
