.Net support and Release Management

Job Title: .Net support and Release Management<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Location:  NYC, NY

Position Type: Permanent/Fulltime

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assisting to technical Lead and or own release management of the system developed

Support to application development team or L2/L3 support

Co-coordinating with different team to find out required information and follow up

Keeping track of release plan and deployment scheduled for raising necessary tickets in the system, follow up with approval from Sr. management.

Gathering the requirement and developing POC

 

Role Specific Skills:

Strong knowledge of WCF, Asp.Net, C# and asmx web services

Support to application development team or L2/L3 support

 

Experience & Exposure Required:

Excellent knowledge of .NET Framework version 4.0 and above

Knowledge of web based technologies

Worked in troubleshooting and providing Technical assistance to IT teams

Excellent communication skills and should be able to interact with the client directly.

Communication with users to gather requirements and analyze/address issues.

Must be proactive and self-driven

Detailed knowledge of web services development using .net

Strong knowledge of WCF, Asp.Net, C# and asmx web services

Good coordination and communication skills

Knowledge of Kerberos, SSL

Experience with developing multi-threaded apps.

Computer science background with clear fundamentals is required.

Basic knowledge of SQL server, DB2 (Sql query language Stored Procedure/table creation)

Understanding Morgan Stanley environment is added advantage Role and Responsibility:
