Title: Informatica Developer

 

Requirements:

5+ years of
experience of ETL development

Bachelor’s
degree and/or 5+ years of Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence work experience
required

Extensive
experience with Informatica

Advanced
knowledge of ETL, including the ability to read and write efficient, robust
code, follow or implement best practices and coding standards, design/implement
common ETL strategies (CDC, SCD, etc.), and create reusable/maintainable jobs

Exceptional
analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Strong
written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible
for managing overall design and development of solution and
converting/migrating Infa 9.5 into 9.6 vesion i.e. from Legacy to upgraded/new
environment.

Gathering
requirements from business partners and translating those into a development
plan

 

Technical Requirements:

Informatica
9.5 and 9.6

Oracle

Teradata

SQL Server

Unix
Scripting

 

Preferred Skillset:

Migration
project experience is a plus

Experience
with onshore-offshore model

Migration
project experience is a plus

Ability to
work with the business, understand business processes and deliver in an agile
manner

Quality
functional specifications and design documents

Problem
assessment and resolution in existing solutions

Monitoring
and performance tuning

Participation
in all phases of development lifecycle and post implementation support
