ETL Informatica Developer

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

To provide technical option assessments as needed

Work with BA’s to understand functional and non-functional requirements

Create detailed design specifications for ETL-related components

Develop ETL packages to extract, transform, and load source to target stores

Write and execute unit tests to ensure that development meets basic requirements

Collaborate with Data Modelers and DBAs to ensure necessary modeling and physical table creation completed to support deliverables

 

Skill, Experience & General information Required:

9+ years of experience working as a hands-on developer in Information Technology or related field.

3+ years of experience working in a tech lead role.

5+ years of extensive experience with Informatica ETL

5+ years of Database development experience with a solid understanding of core database concepts and relational database design.

Solid understanding of batch and Autosys.

Unix scripting experience.

Data Warehousing and/or HR Data experience a big plus.

Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.

Analytical skills is a must.

Excellent understanding of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be a team player.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
