About the Cyber Security Unit
The Capgemini Cybersecurity Unit (CSU) was formed on 1st January 2015 and has brought together the 2500 security specialists working in Capgemini. The security specialists operate globally, providing security management, operations, consulting and compliance capabilities to our clients. The Head of the Infrastructure Services Security Practice has five direct reports: Head of Information Security Pre-Sales; Global CISO; Head of Security Operations; Chief Security Compliance Officer and Head of Consulting and Projects.
Jr Cybersecurity Consultant
Provide technical advice, guidance, and assistance regarding Information Security Solution Design and Delivery for New Client Pursuit and New Services to current clients. Assist Pursuit Teams in the preparation of solution business cases, resourcing and budgets, recommendations, alternative selection, project planning and implementation of IT Security tools, techniques, requirements, and systems. Assist in Security Services reviews with key client Executives and prepare solution discussion material. This role will need to understand the Client’s Business and Risk Levels in designing a solution that will meet their requirements and business plans. An ability to understand client Regulatory Requirements is required to integrate into solution alternatives. The role will work in a broad range of industries including Life Sciences, Utilities, Entertainment, Financial, Retail, and many others. A firm knowledge of Industry Enterprise Level security tools and solution processes, along with Security Standards such as ISO27001 is required is. Solid Project Management skills with the ability to Multi-Task are required to be successful in this role. Effective teaming skills will help round out success in this position.
This can be a fast-paced environment so the ability to understand the problems and provide quick and decisive answers is a key to success. An understanding of security integration with other IT functions is a “must” for providing a holistic client solution. The role requires basic oral, client presentation, and solution documentation skills.
Security certifications are a plus to show a well-rounded security background. 2+ years of security delivery is a minimum for this position.
Security Service Delivery, Technology, and Process knowledge is required in the areas of Identity and Access Management, Security Operation Center, Security Incident Response, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), Intrusion Detection, SEIM, Risk Mitigation, Vulnerability Management and associated system tools, Application Security, etc…. Additionally, general network architecture expertise is required.
US travel will be required at an estimated level of 60 - 70%.
The employee will have direct accountability to US Security Management for all activities.
Desired designations completed or in progress: CISSP, CHFI, CEH, NERC
