Must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home during the week at short notice. 

The Microsoft Azure Practice is part of the Insights and Data Global Practice and has seen strong growth and continued success across a variety of projects and sectors.  We continue to grow and need to add to our talented Microsoft team. 

We expect you to have a experienced/expert knowledge of the Microsoft stack.  

Expert knowledge of the following Azure cloud components is required:

o Data Warehouse

o Data Lake Store

o SQL Server 2016

Knowledge and experience with other Azure cloud components is preferred:

o Data Factory

o Data Catalog

o Event Hubs

o IoT Hub

o Stream Analytics

o HDInsights

o Visual Studio

o APIs

o Power BI

You will work within the Microsoft Azure team leading the development of Reference Architectures, for example

o Cloud migration

o Data Warehouse

o SAP Hana on Azure

o Content Management System Applications

o Social mobile and web app with authentication

o Enterprise scale disaster recovery

o High performance comuting

o Internet of Things

o Blockchain

o AI and Cognitive solutions

Responsibilities: 

o Lead, design, develop and deliver Microsoft Azure migrations and solutions for Capgemini clients 

o Lead Proof of Concepts 

o Assist in Pre-sales

o Lead on aspects of day to day delivery in agile and devops delivery environments

o You will work with clients to ensure they realize their migration and analytics transformation roadmap 

o Internally, you will help identify improved ways of working, contribute to the I&D practice leadership and mentor juniors and be part of a knowledge management initiative

Other Characteristics:

Familiarity with other cloud providers eg Amazon, Google

Desirable skills .NET, Powershell and noSQL

Experience with the Azure stack and Microsoft PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS offerings

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.  

2.  4+ (M) years of experience in project related work

3. 2+ (M) years of project management experience required

4. 2+ (M) years of Microsoft Azure experience 

 5. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills

Enterprise Architects define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology.  They go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT. Enterprise Architects define services from a business perspective, both with and without automation. They make an initial grouping of services in components, using principles based on objectives and constraints. They have deep business and industry expertise, are familiar with industry standards, and can work at the boardroom and senior management level. 

Required Skills and Experience:

You work with clients to build a holistic view of the strategy, processes, information and information technology assets for their organization.  You lead enterprise solutions for a complete project or lead team(s) across multiple projects. You lead the integration of project solutions and technical governance.

• Qualification: Minimum 5 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Technical certification e.g. Cisco, VMWare; or achieved professional certification TOGAF 9 level;  or has / seeking IAF level 1.

• Should have experience in Functional Architecture Design and Architecture Knowledge, Negotiating, Financial Analysis and Continuous (Service) Improvement.

• Should be proficient in Business Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Change Management.

• Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis.
