Description:

The IT|Development department is in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Technical Analyst for the Restaurant Devices Global Project team (RTP). The RTP products are comprised of Restaurant devices running Windows Operating Systems.  Currently there are more than 300,000 windows devices serving as Point of Sales, Kitchen Devices, Servers, Kiosks, Tablets and others in our 30,000+ restaurants globally.

 The Restaurant Technology Platform Global Project team certifies, defines standards, guidance, support and develops solutions for the countries to run our Point of Sale application upon.

 This person will drive solutions and supervise day to day development of device builds and software which bridge Microsoft's operations systems and our OEM vendors certified hardware products.

 The person in this role would have a personal curiosity to learn and master the technology which installs software and monitors the health of our systems. The team mission includes innovating new ideas and uses of the technology stack and adding value to the business by solving problems. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Lead product meetings with international stakeholders and vendors.
  • Manage development backlog for development team with Visual Studio Online tools.
  • Exemplify the role of a product Subject Matter Expert. Learn all aspects of the products and their custom features.
  • Fully understands and acts as a primary technical lead for our windows device portfolio.
  • Bridge the gap between the business customer and the technology solution providers (i.e., vendors, infrastructure team, development team, etc.) by translating business needs to technical solutions throughout the lifecycle of the product. 
  • Coordinate and/or execute plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business. 
  • Lead and coach day to day tactical technology work in partnership with a development team.
  • Create, track and manage development requests, requirements, designs and deliverables.
  • Use department standard tools to manage documents and project elements.
     

 Skills Needed: 

  • 3-5 yrs of good development experience 
  • 2+ years of Technical Lead role with some Project Management experience. 
  • Well versed with .Net, C#, VB scripting and PowerShell 
  • Deep comfort and practiced expertise with Windows Operations systems including Windows Server 2016, Server 2012, Windows 7,8 and 10 
  • Fundamental understanding of Windows Operating Systems Strong written and oral communication skills. A desire to discuss and debate technology solutions 
  • Understands windows image build process
  • Ability to work and lead tasks independently and work with autonomy 
  • Microsoft IT Pro Certification such as MCSA or MCP strongly preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise software deployment and system monitoring tools desired.

    Ability to work and lead tasks independently and work with autonomy.

    Ability to read and write VBScript and PowerShell scripts.

    3-5 years working with customers to develop and define total product lifecycle.

    Microsoft IT Pro Certification such as MCSE, MCSA or MCP strongly preferred

    Experience with enterprise software deployment and system monitoring tools desired.

Functional analysts can specialize in Strategy Execution, Business Process Transformation or Change Management.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are a leading analyst, able to conceptualize a business or technical solution, leveraging colleagues and partners. You have mastered at least one methodology in-depth and have an advanced knowledge of either one or more business domains; one or more ERP solutions; or one or more technical tools/ languages.  You have wide knowledge of industry innovations and competitor activity and actively engage in, and contribute to, internal and external knowledge developments.  Possible positions could include being a Business Process Consultant in process improvements; a Business Analyst performing “as-is/ to-be” analysis on business processes and/ or IT; or an experienced Functional Consultant who is able to advise clients on the implementation of one or more package modules. 

• Qualification: Minimum 5 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Should have Level 1 and seeking Level 2 BA.

• Experience in Business Analysis.

• Should be proficient in Business knowledge, Package Configuration and Change Management.

• Should have progressing skills on Functional Architecture Design and Architecture Knowledge.
