030500-Accounting Director (Operations)

Manage and coordinate the maintenance of the general ledger to ensure that accounts are in balance and all controls are maintained.  Direct the preparation of income and balance sheet or other consolidated statements and financial reports (e.g., for shareholder, policy owners, regulatory authorities, and management). Recommend, implement and administer accounting policies, procedures and standards, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Direct the design, modification, installation and maintenance of general accounting systems and related subsystems. Lead complex accounting projects. Typically has a degree in accounting, or equivalent business experience, and professional designation's) such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA) or Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI). Oversee daily operation of department(s).  Implement short-term business strategies .  Responsible for implementing cost saving procedures.  Direct staff in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and programs.    Adhere to both company policy and governmental regulations concerning department. Manage departmental structure, employee development, training.

• Manages a team/unit performing highly specialized functions, or oversees the daily operation of teams/units with highly seasoned exempt and possibly some non-exempt employees, which involve multiple service requirements

• Has latitude in decision making affecting operations of Company

• Establishes, directs and implements medium range work plans or goals for specific work groups managed

• May oversee other Mgrs.

• Individual typically has 5+ years related work experience and 3+ years of management experience and may have significantly more

• Participates as member of the organization’s management team contributing to the development of strategies and business goals

     Oversees the general accounting function

 Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place

 Ensures that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies

 Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.

 Ensures that company financial reports are prepared in compliance with policies and directives

 Coordinates work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records.

 Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop high-performing teams.

 Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions

The Data center Team Manager undertakes operational activities required to ensure services are delivered as per SLA/OLA.

Day to Day responsibilities:
 
• Responsible for delivering activities assigned to his/her team on time, with quality and agreed resources;
• Responsible for in taking added activities from next level team (shift left);
• Communication with other Leaders / Service Delivery Manager/Client;
• Delivery inspection and review;
• Impact analysis & solution design;
• Task Planning & Scheduling;
• Supervise and review project team members;
• Responsible for reviewing MSR, monthly service status/dashboard and monthly KPI report;
• Responsible for 1st level People Management activities;
• Ensuring incidents/SR/RFC and other production support tasks are delivered as per service requirements;
• Manage quality of deliverables;
• Cultivate Knowledge sharing;
• Responsible for availability of resource;
• Responsible of ROTA, Monthly Roster;
• New account plug-in and transition. 
• Qualification: Engineering  Diploma / Degree  or  Non-engineering College Degree;
• Should be proficient in Problem Diagnosis & Solution & Technical Process Expertise
• Should have progressing skills in Continuous (Service) Improvement
