Role Description:

This role is to work as part of the Capgemini team providing IT Support.

The successful candidate will also need to work flexibly as part of the Remote IT Support team, dealing with Incidents, Service Requests or Changes as and when required.

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Delivering the technical tasks within defined timescales and to standards agreed in relevant Service Level Agreements with client;

Meeting various other Quality KPIs like UAT First Time Pass, Zero Downtime etc, wherever applicable;

Participating/driving various client  meetings for strategy  making, providing inputs wherever applicable;

Create a high-level design plan for any project, defining scope of work, providing solutions to deliver projects on time,

Delegating various sub-tasks to team, ensuring the delivery with appropriate quality norms and as per agreed SLAs with client;

Align all the standard processes in the corresponding service to adhere ITIL standards and implement best practices;

Perform peer-reviews for the team-members to ensure the quality deliverable and defining stringent  QA parameters from time-to-time based on Defect Trending and CAR;

Ability to improve the processes regularly to make it cost effective;

Should have excellent client facing skills and understand the client  requirement;

Ability to Manage and mentor the team members;

People/Performance management of the entire team;

Excellent presentation and documentation skills, should be able to present capabilities to clients or senior management;

Ability to take strategic decisions, feed the recommendations to the management; Identify upcoming technologies and plan out various trainings for the team;

Should be able to identify new resources requirement  in advance and initiate recruitment ahead;

Should be able to identify new opportunities for business (other than own service).


Technical  Graduate in IT (Mandatory);

Working experience of  7 to 9 years in relevent technologies;

Well versed in  ITIL processes, should have practiced consistently in the relevant services;

Relevant certifications is a must.

Excellent interpersonal  skills and (assertive) communication skills (both Verbal and Written);

Client  focused in the delivery of service, with good client facing skills;

Experience of providing support  in a similar professional organization;

Must be able to manage team’s workload and adhere to required client procedures

Must have an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving

Must be self-driven, objective and have the ability to use initiative and tenacity to resolve issues

Must be flexible and able to work well within a team environment;

Excellent leadership skills

Should be able to mentor/influence junior members to follow standard processes;

Adapt  upcoming technologies as per trend. Involves researching, developing, innovating and delivering effective and consistent solutions to support the infrastructure systems ensuring the application of current and emerging technologies.

Day to Day  responsibilities:

• System Monitoring;

• Installation Services and Management;

• OS administration; User Administration;

• Application Software support;

• Facilities Management;

• Security Services; Back-up Services;

• Hardware services/management;

• Documentation/Regulatory requirements;

Remotely managed servers overseas, including:

o System Monitoring;

o OS administration; User administration;

o Application Software support;

o Security Management;

o Back-up Services (monitoring only);

o Hardware Services (advisory).

• Developing and implementing service improvements;

• Attending with Active ownership of  DR rehearsals;

• Monthly Reporting;

• Designing and implementing Ad-hoc project work requests;

On-call cover and out of hours support.

• Qualification: Engineering or equivalent degree

 • Should be proficient in Technology Solution Design
