Role Overview: The NA International Assignment Services (IAS) Team has the primary mission of executing all facets of international mobility for employees coming to North America (US & Canada) on both short and long term assignments with a focus on immigration and continuity of service to the employees and the business.  We are a core team aligned to Group HR and Global IAS driving policy, working closely with the business to raise immigration landscape and legal shift awareness, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with US and Canada immigration policies.
 Our Mission:
  • Mobilize the NA team to ensure timely service and compliant process
  •       Deliver the H-1B cap program
  •       Complete remaining H-1B & Other Visa amendments related to integration
  •       Build a plan to stay sustainably below the Super Dependency threshold
  •       Fully Deploy the Assignment Pro systems platform in NA
  •       Implement a strong NA support model along with SBU and Group functions
  •       Create and chair group of NA stakeholders to determine policy and react to changes in the legal environment
    The EPM role is a key role focused first and foremost on project management as it relates to the broader NA IAS overall program.  In this case project management is defined as comprehensive such that this individual will be able to develop and maintain a mechanism to track and have a constant pulse on all programs and multiple moving parts operating simultaneously across the program.  This mechanism developed by this individual will include a dashboard and corresponding back up data to provide a view of all primary immigration functional verticals (ex. Amendments, Extensions, H1B Cap, RFEs, Helpdesk, Budget, etc.) as an executive view that includes monthly updates and highlights of critical items.
    Responsibilities & Tasks: This role reports directly to the NA IAS Lead with frequent interaction with NA operations and immigration leaders across the team and in coordination with our counterpart team in India to help drive high priority project verticals imperative to the successful mission (immigration escalation tracking, external legal liaison and coordianation with internal legal and operations team, serivce delivey coordination with NA IAS lead and key team leaders) and not limited to:
     
  • Overall Program Management of the broad IAS Function and Delivery Model in close coordination with IAS NA Lead and Team Leads to include management of individual  high priority projects as well as constant pulse on day to day delivery operations
  • Drive communicatioins workstream in coordination with NA Immigration Manager and legal
  • Maintain high level oversight of Helpdesk team to highlight areas of  ”noise” coming up from the helpdesk or otherwise
  • Capture success stories that will allow immigration team to share progress and momentum of supporting the IAS component of the business
  • Coordination of all team meetings, recurring project vertical touch points
  • Work with NA IAS team to regularly refresh the NA IAS Portal, update FAQs, key communications, etc.
  • Support of the NA IAS Lead in preparation of briefing and presentation materials 
  • Direct support of Internal Comms in coordination of routine executive communications
  • Effectively/Proactively support the NA IAS Team with objectives/initiatives
  • Support of NA IAS Lead Governance logistics/planning/briefings
  • Governance Reporting
  • Assume additonal special projects/ tasks as assigned
Experience & Skills Required:  The ideal candidate will have: 
  • Related Program Management Experience Primary, Immigration or HR Experience a Plus
  • Understanding of the tenets and best practices of program management regardless of the project or domain
  • Demonstrated mature judgment and discretion in handling of confidential information
  • Effective ability to engage and communicate with high level executives
  • Demonstrate an effective ability to work proactively and independently
  • Superior time management, organizational research and problem solving skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity, imagination and inventiveness
  • General knowledge of immigration or international assignment services a plus
  • Passion, energy and excitement
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a multicultural team and business
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel periodically to support in person meetings (Chicago, Burbank, Denver as examples, only domestic travel expected)
