028918-Project Manager AM8 C 30000492 - FTE - OCM / Transition Management
We are currently searching for a OCM Lead.
This position is to provide OCM support during the pursuit and execution of Transitions.
- 90% Organizational Change Management during AM Transitions
- 10% Sales Support on major AM Pursuits where OCM may provide a competitive advantage or where the client is new to outsourcing.
- Prior OCM training and experience is needed.
- It would be ideal for them to have a compliment of Lean Skills.
As OCM in the AM world expands, this could grow into a larger scope of work.
Also, identifying candidates with strong project management skills provides the flexibility to cover Transition governance roles if / when OCM roles are not available.
This role interacts directly with client executives discussing their expectations, fears, and concerns around change events.
This places the OCM lead as a mediator with pursuit leads who may not have a high opinion of IT.
In addition, as we are looking to integrate OCM closer with Lean activities, the interaction across Capgemini teams becomes increasingly important.
Thus interaction skills are critical.
The OCM assessment and execution involves complex problem solving to lay out and execute an OCM plan to address stakeholder needs at multiple levels and then sell that plan to the client transition leadership.
Transition is a critical activity to any AM engagement.
OCM is one of the most highly visible aspects of a transition directly touching all stakeholders.
Thus discretion and communication skills are critical.
Project Managers take full responsibility for managing a project or program.
They normally manage a number of related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction.
Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization.
A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).
