· Work with the sales teams and business lead to qualify opportunities (bid / no bid).

· Assist in developing the sales strategy, sales plan

· Drive sales strategy through all aspects of the pursuit

· Ensure appropriate Capgemini offerings are defined and used 

· Ensure compliance to deal process defined by the SBU

· Understand client objectives for the project and the wider Capgemini organization

· Estimate and create pursuit budgets - manage forecast against actual

· Assemble bid teams with the appropriate resources (sales, solutions, commercial, delivery, legal, etc.)

· Develop pursuit timelines covering all aspects of the pursuit, including internal and external touch points

· Manage to key deliverables and milestones, ensuring the overall submission to client is best in class, including marketing material, proposals, orals and other presentation, and BAFO submissions

· Drive the appropriate level of rigor on the pursuit to confirm different areas are aligned from solution to financials to legal, etc.

· Coordinate with Solutions, Sales, Delivery Centers, Leadership, Technology, and Commercials to ensure necessary internal reviews and approvals prior to submission of response to RFI, RFP, and BAFO

Work collaboratively on cross BU pursuits:

Manage pursuits (RFIs, RFPs, unsolicited bids) from conception to signing in the following manner (For Product & Engineering Services (P&ES) opportunities)

Specialized/Practical Knowledge:

-  Experience with full project delivery life cycles

-  Experience with delivering client value & service excellence

-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

-  Proven strong commercial management skills commensurate with role

-  Experience setting and managing client expectations; taking control of difficult situations to gain client respect

-  Experience developing long term partnerships with internal/external clients and building trust to negotiate contracts and key recommendations

-  Proven ability to motivate a team and encouragement / assistance developing the team

-  Experience presenting clear, concise well structured arguments to support an opinion

-  Proven ability to drive projects and initiatives from conception through implementation while improving processes and best practices

-  Experience networking with colleagues across the group and maximizing contacts to full benefit
